Well, everyone is aware that the Google releasedAndroid 6.0 Marshmallow to its Nexus devices and also rolled out for Android One devices. Now, the company is planning to roll out Android 6.0.1 update to some of the devices out there. Yes..Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Scroll down for the rest of the story.
The devices are expected to be Android Onehandsets, and it’s not a surprise that a limited number of users have already updated to Android 6.0.1. One example includes a smartphone listed with a model number of H220 which is the Cherry Mobile Android G1 in the Philippines, some of the users already received the update even though it was entitled to Dec 1st.
It does imply, that the Google has tested the build and is ready to roll out to its devices, we still don’t know what the new update packs and how much it weighs as the roll out isn’t official yet. However, we can expect some bug fixes and tweaks with each new version.
Another interesting story from the HTC ROM Developer @LlabTooFeR quoted that Google will release the Android 6.1 Marshmallow update after the Android 6.0.1, and it will happen at the start of the next year, assuming it to be true. Another thought that sucks the mind is that whether all of the devices will receive the Android 6.0.1 update or will get directly updated to Android 6.1? What do you guys think about it?
